COA-CAR holds groundbreaking ceremony for PSAO Apayao

            Luna, Apayao – The groundbreaking ceremony for the Commission on Audit-Cordillera Administrative Region (COA-CAR) Provincial Satellite Auditing Office (PSAO) in San Gregorio, Luna, Apayao, was held on January 6, 2022.

 

            Commissioner Roland C. Pondoc, former Assistant Commissioner Luzvi Pangan-Chatto, former COA-CAR Regional Director Eden Tingson-Rafanan, former Governor Eleanor C. Bulut-Begtang, and Mayor Josephine M. Bangsil led the said ceremony.  The activity was also attended by Mayor Rodolfo B. Juna of Flora, Mayor Hector Reuel B. Pascua of Pudtol, Mayor Evelyn Martines of Sta. Marcela, Department Heads of the Provincial Government of Apayao, and COA personnel from the Central Office, Regional Office, and Apayao.

 

            According to Commissioner Pondoc, the PSAO is a testimony of COA’s commitment in ensuring transparency and accountability. The PSAO Apayao will empower auditors assigned thereat and inspire them to provide better public service.

 

            The PSAO Apayao will be constructed on a 3,000 square-meter lot donated by the Municipal Government of Luna, Apayao to COA-CAR. In addition to this, former Gov. Bulut-Begtang and Mayor Bangsil has also committed to donate another 1,000 square meters for its expansion.
